A Brief History

We have owned and trained dogs for over 30 years and Paula has trained in small animal hydrotherapy at the world renowned Hawksmoor Hydrotherapy Training and Referral Centre.

At the Centre we work with dogs needing rehabilitation following surgery or injury and with management of long-term conditions. We also have those that want to look their best for the show ring or who want that extra edge in the sports world.

We have a large 4x2x1m hydrotherapy pool, land treadmill and various other pieces of equipment to help improve core strength and stability, balance, proprioception, gait pattern and range of motion.

We also have a hoist for larger dogs unable to access the pool via the ramp.

All our clients have an individual plan of care tailored for their needs, we do not believe one size fits all. Every dog has a veterinary referral which we take care of for you.

Water Management

The quality of the water in our pool is very important and is tested several times every day to ensure it is clean and the chemical and pH balance is at optimum levels. The water is constantly filtered & kept at around 30°C. All our tests are recorded.

Our aim through the use of these therapies, individually tailored to your pet is to –
